The blackout treatment on this mic actually makes a real difference in my untreated home studio — background hum dropped noticeably. Picked up my voice with zero handling noise during a long podcast session.
Plugged this in for a podcast session and the background noise rejection is unreal—my A/C was running and you’d never know. The built-in shock mount really handles those accidental desk bumps, too.
Finally, a mic that doesn't pick up every single room noise—the internal shock mount really kills handling rumble. Build feels utterly solid, like it could survive a fall off a desk.
The pickup pattern is incredibly tight; I can record right next to my computer fan without any hum bleeding in. The build quality feels like it could survive a drop down the stairs.
The noise cancellation is so good I can record with my air conditioner running in the background. Set up was quick and the sound quality is crystal clear for vocals.
I’ve been recording vocals in my untreated room and the Blackout’s rejection of background noise is incredible—no more reverb or truck rumble. Setup took two minutes, and it sounds like I’m in a treated booth.
I was blown away by how clean the audio sounds even when I'm recording in a noisy room—the built-in noise cancellation is no joke. The metal construction also feels way sturdier than my old mic, like it could survive a drop.
The shock mount really isolates bumps on my desk, so no more thumping sounds during calls. Sound quality is crisp and clear—definitely worth the upgrade from my old setup.
Gotta say, this mic picks up way less background noise than my old one — the cardioid pattern really locks onto my voice. The built-in shock mount saved me from all those accidental desk bumps during recording.
I’ve been using this mic for podcasts and the sound isolation is incredible—even my noisy AC unit barely registers. The build feels solid, and the mute button is satisfyingly clicky.
