Compare the refurbished Logitech MX Vertical mouse and Brio 500 webcam to see which certified refurbished peripheral fits your needs and budget.
Quick answer
Choose the refurbished MX Vertical if you need an ergonomic mouse for reduced arm strain; pick the refurbished Brio 500 if you want a reliable webcam for clear video calls. Both are certified refurbished and offer like-new performance at a lower price.
Ergonomics vs video quality: different jobs
The MX Vertical and Brio 500 serve completely different purposes, so your choice depends on what you need most. The MX Vertical is a vertical mouse designed to reduce forearm pressure during long work sessions, while the Brio 500 is a webcam focused on delivering sharp video for calls and streaming.
If you already have a functional webcam but suffer from wrist or arm discomfort, the MX Vertical addresses that specific ergonomic gap. If your current laptop camera is grainy or poorly positioned, the Brio 500 upgrades your video quality without changing your mouse setup.
Certified refurbished: what it means for you
Both products are certified refurbished, meaning they have been tested, restored, and verified to work like new. This certification gives you confidence that the device meets Logitech's original performance standards, even though it costs significantly less than a brand-new unit.
The main trade-off is that you may receive a unit with minor cosmetic imperfections, and the packaging might differ from retail. However, the functional reliability and warranty coverage (where applicable) are the same as new, making this a smart way to save money on quality peripherals.
How to decide: decision rules
- Start with your biggest pain point: If you have arm or wrist discomfort during mouse use, choose the MX Vertical. If your video quality is poor on calls, choose the Brio 500.
- Check your existing setup: If you already own a decent webcam but an uncomfortable mouse, the MX Vertical fills the gap. If your mouse is fine but your camera is outdated, the Brio 500 is the better upgrade.
- Consider the total cost: The refurbished MX Vertical is priced at USD 57.59, and the refurbished Brio 500 at USD 62.39. Both are well below their original retail prices, so you can also consider buying both if your budget allows. If you can afford both, you get an ergonomic mouse and a quality webcam for roughly the price of one new premium peripheral.
